Hi! I’m Magda — a biologist with training in community ecology, microbiology, and entomology. My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms that drive biodiversity by studying multitrophic interactions. Over the past years, I’ve investigated how connections across different trophic levels—especially between flowers, wild bees, and their microbiomes—shape patterns of diversity across space.
Currently, I’m a researcher in the Gaiarsa Lab, where I study how resource availability and heat waves impact flower-bee interactions. My goal is to understand how these ecological shifts influence population fitness and ecosystem stability.
Beyond research, I’m passionate about teaching, mentoring, and supporting others in their scientific journeys.
